Summer Stock Stage announced the cast today for Beetlejuice Jr., running July 30–August 2, 2026 at the Shelton Auditorium.

This production marks the first-ever Summer Stock Stage High School Studio show, a new program designed for high school students seeking an intensive and elevated musical theatre training experience.

The High School Studio Show is a rigorous, three-week intensive created for students committed to dramatically building their musical theatre skills through the experience of rehearsing a full production. The program goes beyond traditional summer stock, immersing participants in structured classwork and disciplined rehearsal processes that ensure comprehensive artistic development.

Based on the hit Broadway musical, Beetlejuice Jr. tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose life changes when she encounters a recently deceased couple and a mischievous demon with a flair for chaos. Featuring a high-energy score and irreverent humor, the show offers a perfect showcase for emerging performers to explore bold character work and dynamic storytelling.

Beetlejuice Jr. will star Simon Allen as “Beetlejuice” and Greta Shambarger and Reese Smith alternating the role of “Lydia Deetz.” The cast also features Sekani Roberts as “Robert Maitland,” Ella Carry as “Barbara Maitland,” Spencer Bland as “Charles Deetz,” Staci Raymont as “Delia Schlimmer,” Strachan Wrench as “Maxie Dean,” Elyse Edwards as “Maxine Dean,” Jayden Duke as “Otho,” Scout Strand as “Juno,” Olivia Beeler as “Sky,” Scarlett Donaldson as “Miss Argentina,” and Gracie Reckamp, Josephine Leppert & Lola Skilling as “Girl Scouts.”

The ensemble of Beetlejuice Jr. features Frances Behringer, Lila Boyles, Rebecca Burkhart, Maggie Carter, Ella Coller, June Conder, Fiona Finn, Stella Fowles, Gracyn Gammon, Sammy Geis, Ian Greenwald, Quinn Gordon, Andrew Gropp, Guineviere Hopkins, Bridget Hughes, Elliot Hunter, Liv Keslin, Annemarie Klingler, Clara Kohl, Tad Kiovsky, Aradhya Mathur, Ben Marer, Carolyn Noneman, Peytra Oomkes, Julianne Payne, Jude Schultz, Annabelle Smith, & Ramona Young.

The creative team for Beetlejuice Jr. includes director and choreographer Kenny Shephard, music director Teneh Karimu, scenic designer David Orr, costume designer Allison Jones, properties designer Isabella Garza, lighting designer Kieran Shay, sound designer Zach Rosing, stage manager Samantha Lewis, and assistant stage manager Sofia Warren-Fitzgerald.
