2026 YOUNG ACTOR AUDITIONS – “RAGTIME”
Summer Stock Stage is currently casting 2 roles for young actors in our production of “Ragtime,” running June 24-28, 2026.
Auditions will take place on April 18th at Butler University’s Lily Hall Room 133.
LITTLE BOY AUDITIONS: April 18th from 10-11:30am, Butler University’s Lily Hall Room 133
BABY COALHOUSE AUDITIONS: April 18th from 11:30am-12:00p, Butler University’s Lily Hall Room 133
ROLE: “Little Boy” (male, caucasian, ages 8-11) Must be under 50″ tall with light brown or blond hair. He is in and out of the production constantly so there is a good chance he will be called to long hours of rehearsals. Please check the rehearsal calendar because we can not accommodate conflicts.
ROLE: “Baby Coalhouse” (male, African American, approx. 3 years old) Must be under 36″ tall. Non-speaking role – he runs with enthusiasm into his mothers arms and breaks everyone’s heart wide open. He won’t need to be at many rehearsals but he does come on a the very finale end of the show so we need a child who can be awake at 10pm on performance nights.

Rehearsals run daily from 3pm-9:30pm on Weekdays, with Fridays off
10-5 on Saturdays and 12-5 on Sundays
Conflicts will not be accepted other than emergencies
