Indianapolis, IN– Summer Stock Stage will present the musical Bonnie & Clyde at Ayres Auditorium at Park Tudor School June 23-25. Thursday preview and Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 pm. Sunday performance is at 2:30 pm. More than 25 of the most talented students from central Indiana have been rehearsing with director Charles Goad, music director Jeanne Bowling, and choreographer Cherri Jaffee, to mount this fully-staged and orchestrated production. These students, ages 13-19, come from 15 different public, private, and charter schools from throughout central Indiana. These are some of the best musical theater performers in the area. Many plan to continue their theater studies in college, while others have entirely different plans. All come together in a professional, collaborative environment to produce outstanding theater each summer.
Bonnie & Clyde –When Bonnie and Clyde meet, their mutual cravings for excitement and fame immediately set them on a mission to chase their dreams. Their bold and reckless behavior turns the young lovers’ thrilling adventure into a downward spiral, putting themselves and their loved ones in trouble with the law. Forced to stay on the run, the lovers resort to robbery and murder to survive. As the infamous duo’s fame grows bigger, their inevitable end draws nearer.
Bonnie & Clyde, a thrilling musical with a non-traditional score, combining blues, gospel and rockabilly music, comes to Summer Stock Stage June 23-25! Thursday preview performance is at 7:30 pm. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 pm and Sunday performance is at 2:30 pm. This is a PG production; some material may not be suitable for small children.
Tickets – All tickets are on sale NOW and can be purchased through www.summerstockstage.com or at the box office on the night of show. Preview performance tickets are $12. All other tickets are $18. About Summer Stock Stage – Summer Stock Stage exists to provide theater experiences for teenage students in central Indiana.
